The October box and Moonflair’s first monthly box have finally started to show up in your mailboxes along with lots of fun surprises!
This month’s theme is “Fairy Fall” and we can hardly keep up with expectations! Don’t forget to tag us @moonflairab and use the hashtag #moonflairchallenge & #moonflairoctoberchallenge if you create something with the contents of the box, we would of course love to share you on our social media! You can also use #moonflairbox on your “unboxing videos” and pictures (when you do an unboxing or get the box).
The boxes became so incredibly popular, which unfortunately made the October box completely sold out! If you want to start subscribing now, your next box will be the exciting December box and will be delivered in December as an early Christmas present.
THE FEATURED ARTIST OF THE MONTH – MARIA EKFELDT!
In each box we have a “featured artist of the month” who gets a chance to showcase his/her skills and gives you some inspiration – what can you really create with the box’s content? The box contains a detailed step-by-step instruction to create the same look.
Maria has worked as a nail thech for almost 4 years and lives in Mölnlycke which she enjoys.
It all started with Maria getting tired of her life as a store manager (about 8 years) as she was approaching her 30’s. As a birthday gift, she got, appropriately enough, an nail tech education.
To start her own business at first felt distant and overwhelming, but now in retrospect, she thinks it is the absolute best decision she has made. Big passions in life are besides nails, both horses and eating good food.
“The idea for the design came from the fact that I wanted to do something a little mysterious, kind of like a fairy tale world. My idea was that there would be slightly different depths and dimensions in the nails. The color theme became an easy choice. In the fairytale world, the color appeared purple very often and therefore it simply became the one who steered the design.
The biggest challenge with this set was to do something I had never done before. To dare to continue despite not looking perfect and not being too critical of oneself. You see the result here. “
