How to draw ornaments

Hello hello beautiful people! ❤️ 

My name is Monika (@monika_jok) and I am one of the wonderful Moonflair Content Crew members.  This time I’ve decided to write about ornaments 🤩 

Ornaments have been with me from the beginning of my career and I won’t lie – I love love love them! They are so elegant and classy, it can be used and applied so differently! It just makes my heart beat faster, that’s how much I am excited to talk about them! 😃 

The first 5 tip set I made is a mixture of ornaments and Swarovski crystals (crystals are always perfect with everything by the way). I’ve used light pink and white shimmery colors under the designs as base. If you want to create this romantic elegant look, it’s always good to use light and soft colors, and if you want more of edgy look, bright and dark. 

My personal favorite top is matte top coat. I feel it brings out the precision on your art 🥰 

And for the ornament drawing you can use whatever you have, for this design I used color paste with no sticky layer. To make sure your design is elegant and light, draw your ornaments wavy. Make sure your lines are never straight, they have to bee elastic 🤓 

To make a perfect ornament curve, make sure that you have your paint on the very tip of the brush, press it on the nail and drag it with releasing motion. Using this technique you’ll see – your lines will be amazing!
