If it’s something we’ve learned during the pandemic it’s that we need to be able to work remotely and press-on nails are great way for us to get our art out there.
Press-on nails are perfect for:
Unsure on how to measure? No worries we’ve made a guide for you!
To make it as easy as possible for you we’ve made a PDF that you can send to your client so they can send the correct measurements back to you.
It’s also available as a print if you want to send them a paper guide.
Now it’s time to choose the right size to fit your clients measurements!
On every product page here in our web shop you will find the measurements of the tips.
The picture you see here is measured from sidewall to sidewall including the C-curve of the nail.
For example:
You clients pointer is 13mm wide – then you could choose 3-4
Want to cover your bases? Choose a size bigger than the clients measurement to make sure the sticker fits underneath and send your client a file to adjust the edges if it’s a little bit too big.
A tip is to measure your own nail, add a sticker (don’t remove the plastic on top) and now measure it again to see what the difference is!
Make sure to get the measurements before starting to make your custom press-on nails, that way you can adjust the tip beforehand!
What’s a sizing kit and why should you use it?
A sizing kit is a good option if you would rather the customer choose for themselves which tips are best suited! That way, you know right away that your customer likes the fit and there is no possibility the measurements to be wrong. Remember to ask the customer to keep in mind that there should be room for a glue tab or glue only.
A sizing kit you can easily do yourself with a card (here you can choose a nice print or your logo for example) and then you attach the sizes you have and the shapes you have discussed and mark what size each tip is. We recommend that you try to keep the package as thin and flat as possible, preferably postcard size, so that you can easily send it to the customer without too much extra cost.

Why do we recommend glue tabs over nail glue?
Glue tabs are much more gentle for the natural nail and the press-on nail itself!
With nail glue you risk that the client damages their own nails when they try to remove the tips. Nail glue also contains cyanoacrolate that many people are allergic to.
Glue tabs on the other hand last for about 1-3 days (sometimes longer) and are easy and flexible to remove which means that you can reuse your press-on nails as long as they look nice.
Each package includes 40 sheets with 24 glue tabs on each sheet, ie 960 glue tabs in total!
Price is always hard to set, there are so many factors that come into play! But here are some things to keep in mind:
Now that you know a few different factors to consider, you can start calculating which price will suit you and your customers!
